Terms of Service

Wayfynd is a career-exploration and learning tool. It generates career suggestions, learning roadmaps, timelines, and feedback based on the information you provide, a set of rules and estimates we've built, and AI models. It is operated by an individual developer, not a registered company. Contact: bluedaehyun@gmail.com.

• •You must be at least 13 years old. If we learn an account belongs to someone younger, we delete it.
• •If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission before buying a subscription.
• •You must give accurate information when you sign up, including your date of birth.

Nothing in Wayfynd is a promise. Career matches, timelines, salary ranges, and readiness scores are estimates based on general information and the answers you give — not a guarantee of any income, job offer, admission to any program, or outcome. Feedback on skill challenges is generated automatically, not by a certified professional, and should not be treated as a certification or formal assessment of your abilities.

The AI Coach and the daily photo check-in are powered by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude), not a human. Every Coach reply and every score or piece of feedback on a check-in photo is generated automatically, and nothing has been reviewed by a person before reaching you. AI can be wrong or incomplete, so check anything important before you rely on it.

Wayfynd does not provide financial, legal, educational, or career-counseling advice from a licensed professional. For decisions with real financial or legal weight — student loans, enrolling in a degree program, quitting a job — talk to a qualified advisor. Use Wayfynd as a starting point, not a final answer.

Career DNA, career matching, browsing career paths, the What-If simulator, and a limited number of AI Coach questions are free. Wayfynd Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks the full roadmap, Skill Challenges, comparing and saving futures, unlimited AI Coach, and photo check-ins.

• •You can try Pro free for 7 days from the Upgrade page without entering any payment details.
• •This trial is available once per account.
• •It does not turn into a paid subscription on its own — when it ends, your account goes back to the free features unless you choose a plan.

• •Payments are processed by Paddle, which sells Wayfynd Pro to you as our authorized reseller and merchant of record (Paddle.com Inc. in the US, Paddle.com Market Limited in most other countries). Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.
• •Your card is charged when you subscribe. Your subscription then renews automatically for the same period (monthly, 6 months, or yearly) at the price in effect at renewal, until you cancel.
• •Prices don't include tax. Paddle adds any applicable sales tax or VAT at checkout based on where you live.
• •If we change the price of a plan, we'll tell you before the new price applies to your next renewal.

You can cancel anytime from the Upgrade page using "Cancel subscription" or "Manage billing," or by emailing us. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the billing period you've already paid for.

Refunds are handled through Paddle under Paddle's Buyer Terms. If you live in the EU, EEA, or UK, you can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days for a full refund, except where you've already started using the subscription, as described in those terms. If you think you've been charged in error, email us and we'll help sort it out.

• •You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication.
• •One account per person. Don't create accounts to impersonate someone else.
• •You can stop using Wayfynd at any time and ask us to delete your account.

Don't use Wayfynd to:

• •Submit harmful, illegal, or abusive content through the challenge, coach, or check-in features.
• •Attempt to access another user's account or data, or get around limits, trials, or payment requirements.
• •Interfere with or overload the service (for example, automated scraping or bulk account creation).
• •Reverse-engineer or resell the service.

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate this.

You keep ownership of what you create — challenge submissions, coach messages, check-in photos, and anything else you add to the app. By submitting it, you allow us to store it and process it to provide the feature you used it for (like generating feedback), including through the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy. We don't publish your submissions or share them with other users.

Wayfynd is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it running, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. Features may change, be added, or be removed as the product develops.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Wayfynd and its operator are not liable for decisions you make based on information from the app, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that can't be excluded by law.

We may update these Terms as the product changes. If a change is significant, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Wayfynd after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cambodia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
